Disneyland at Christmastime

Hi everyone! I’m finally sharing the pictures I took on our trip to Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. It was an amazing trip for many reasons, but it was all the more magical because the whole park was decorated up for Christmas. The weather was also uncommonly cold (for southern California), which added to the holiday feel. Here are some of the many photos I snapped:

This huge, under-the-sea themed Christmas tree greeted us when we checked into our hotel (the Paradise Pier). It was so pretty!

Here’s Phillip pretending to steal the giant presents underneath the giant tree.
The entrance to the California Adventure park, festooned with garlands.
Poinsettias everywhere…
The jungle cruise became the “Jingle Cruise.”
Main street, decked out for Christmastime.
I loved the Mickey-shaped wreaths.
Sleeping Beauty’s castle was beautiful as always with it’s snow-covered towers.
The Haunted Mansion was decorated in a “Nightmare Before Christmas” theme.
Pumpkins!
I love how much effort is put into every last detail. I think that’s why it feels so special there.
Waiting in line…
And my favorite ride- Small World! (See the clock-face ornament Phillip made for me last year here). Little did I know when I snapped these photos in line that we would be engaged by the time the ride was over.
I love the white and pastel garlands. If I had my way I would decorate our entire house with them. One day…

Santa in his house at the North Pole.
After the ride, we went to check into our room, change shoes, and call family members with the news. We were surprised to find out we’d been randomly selected for a free upgrade to a multi-room suite! It made the day that much more amazing.
I found it amusing that there was a brochure on the bed explaining how much you’ll get charged if you steal the beach ball pillow!
This bathroom was amazing- it was bigger than our whole bedroom at home!
We even had a Christmas tree in our room! I’ll spare you the pictures, but also had a full-sized dining table, a living room another bathroom, and a kitchen. It was ridiculously big for two people staying for one night, but it was still a lot of fun getting to stay there!
How will I ever stay in a room without a shoe buffer again?
The best part was this view!
I hope I didn’t bore you too much with all of these pictures. Thanks for stopping by!
