Ok, Ok, I realize it’s not Thursday, or even Friday, but I’ve had a pretty busy week and as a result blogging has sort of fallen by the wayside. Better late than never, I suppose! As I mentioned before, I’m spending most of my free time getting ready for the upcoming craft fair. I only have two weeks to go and I’m starting to freak just a little bit!
Anyway, I’ve lined up a selection of Halloween-related thrifting finds, all of which we are currently using for our Halloween decor. Enjoy!
I came across this black cat with orange rhinestone eyes a few months ago and have been saving him for the occasion. He’s perfect for Halloween!
How cute is this little sixties pumpkin man?
Another pumpkin, he’s currently in a flower pot outside on the porch.
I actually got these gourds from the Achievement House Bargain store- they grew them in the nursery. And the two green gourds I got for free from my mom’s garden! (Whatta deal)
I got the idea to use a group of these jack-o-lantern buckets from another blogger. Don’t they look cute lined up outside the window? (And even brand new they only cost about $1!)
I knew this orange and gold sectional dish would be perfect for fall decorating. Unfortunately, it has already been broken and repaired after Bosley knocked it off the table. Cats: you gotta love ’em!
I made this little banner with some illustrations I rescued from an old anatomy book back when I worked at Achievement House. All it took was some construction paper, yarn, and a hole punch!
If you are interested in making your own, you can download images similar to these ones here and here– some are free and some aren’t.

And last but not least, we found this black ceramic kitty at the Nipomo Swap Meet a few weeks ago. I actually kind of love the way the chipped-off paint looks on his bow.
Thanks for looking everyone and have a Happy Halloween!!
